Networking with France
The close cooperation between Germany and France has grown over decades. It extends to all areas of life, especially in the border region. There are already many initiatives in both countries on the topics of Industry 4.0 and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The Ministry of Economics, Labour and Tourism is now specifically promoting networking and exchange between France and Baden-Württemberg in these fields of technology: The „Baden-Württemberg & France Partnership Concept“ supports companies, startups and research institutions in innovation partnerships and in opening up new markets. Increasing networking promotes innovation and increases competitiveness.
Together with the DIZ, the Digital Hub Karlsruhe for Applied Artificial Intelligence, the Steinbeis-Europa Zentrum and Baden-Württemberg International, the Allianz Industrie 4.0 Baden-Württemberg will implement extensive networking and matchmaking activities in 2021.

Networking with The Netherlands
Here, too, the focus is on networking and exchange between two economically strong regions: in 2021, Baden-Württermberg and the Dutch province of Noord-Brabant opened the German-Dutch Fieldlab AI4DT (Artificial Intelligence for Digital Twins).
As a test environment, the Fieldlab is the ideal place to develop and rehearse solutions. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in particular benefit from this offer. Companies and research institutions in both regions work closely together. This enables knowledge transfer and value-added partnerships. In turn, it promotes the potential of the Digital Twin and Artificial Intelligence.
On the AI4DT platform, interested parties can network, participate in online seminars and arrange 1:1 meetings with other companies. Networking events are planned for the summer of 2021.
The Allianz Industrie 4.0 Baden-Württemberg is involved in events and lectures.
